Worth the read… For everyone especially parents and coaches
In Nashville, Tennessee, during the first week of January, 1996, more than 4,000 baseball coaches descended upon the Opryland Hotel for the 52nd annual ABCA convention.
While I waited in line to register with the hotel staff, I heard other more veteran coaches rumbling about the lineup of speakers scheduled to present during the weekend. One name, in particular, kept resurfacing, always with the same sentiment — “John Scolinos is here? Oh man, worth every penny of my airfare.”
Who the heck is John Scolinos, I wondered. Well, in 1996 Coach Scolinos was 78 years old and five years retired from a college coaching career that began in 1948. No matter, I was just happy to be there. read more…
Look like American snowboarder Chloe Kim’s lack of political grandstanding has catapulted her above sore losers like anti-Trump figure skater Adam Rippon and race-baiting Shani Davis.
Chloe just achieved what her father called the “American Dream” by taking home the gold on Monday!
When you honor your country, put forth the effort required, and achieve the American dream, you take home the Gold.
Chloe Kim spent her time doing what she does best, snowboarding.
Her dream paid off.
Mike Pence offers support at the Winter Olympics for all American Athletes. There’s power behind the VP’s presence.

Vice President Mike Pence supports the Olympics by showing up in South Korea, and the press blows up over the North Korean “sister of rocket man” sitting behind him.
Then Olympic contender shares his thoughts:
Outspoken US figure skater Adam Rippon said he doesn’t want his feud with US Vice President Mike Pence to overshadow his Winter Olympics but isn’t about to stop voicing his mind.
Speaking at a press conference in Pyeongchang, South Korea Tuesday, Rippon said he stood by his recent criticism of Pence’s position on LGBT rights.
Is it all about Mike Pence?
Whether he wants it to be or not, Adam Rippon created the stir, and shadowed his own Winter Olympic performance by mouthing off about Mike Pence’s religious belief.
I find it interesting that so many wish to spread their Christian hatred, announcing their disgust with Christian values publicly, putting out that Christians are the ones who spread hatred. No… Mike Pence hasn’t said a word about his belief during his visit there. And didn’t make appointments with heads of state to spread a political agenda, either. His presence there was about the Olympics.
But Rippon wanted a confrontation, and a stage.
He got one. He pushed his talent to the background (I don’t even know what he was there to contend) and made his political agenda front and foremost for me. Too bad… Whatever his talent was, he could have been celebrated for that. Now, he’ll go down in history for his hatred of a man who showed up to support him in the Olympics.
That’s a sad day!

Most people do not understand that.. And THAT is part of the problem. But a bigger part of this problem is that refugees get all the rights of Americans and they are not vetted, and won’t have the same limitations of chain immigration for family members they want to bring over after they’re settled in.
Refugees are given thousands of dollars to live on each month, as citizens (instant citizens) who don’t understand any part of the cost of where that money comes from. Many are not even able to get jobs, because they have no skills, and no ability to GET skills. They’re not capable of going to school, getting an education, or even assimilating into an American lifestyle, because they’re living in their victimhood.
The case workers who work with them don’t have the skills necessary to assimilate them. The schools where their children attend are overwhelmed by the costs and the educational/language needs and requirements. Overall, these people who are pulled up out of their horrific life situations, are dropped into life situations that are so different from anything they’ve ever known that they have NO CONCEPT of life in their current position. They live in fear, or demand that we provide a “likeness to where they came from” to make them comfortable.
And that my friends, is why it is so important to pay attention to what’s going on and help these people settle and find protection in areas where they are close to their homeland if possible instead of bringing them to the USA where lifestyles are SO DIFFERENT from what they’ve lived.
This isn’t about being racist or intolerant, it’s about accepting that not all people have American Values, and not all of them want our values, therefore we have to allow them to remain in areas where their values are the “normal” rather than trying to put them into situations and recreate their normal.

Just saw this and was thinking what is going to happen to our world? The Pentagon plans to develop two “low-yield” nuclear warheads to be launched from ballistic-missile submarines and warships, to send a message to Moscow — which the Trump administration accuses of amassing a stockpile of tactical nuclear weapons.
The new plan is outlined in Defense Secretary Jim Mattis’s Nuclear Posture Review, released Friday afternoon. read more…
Everyone thought the President would say something controversial or incendiary but to our surprise this speech didn’t brand Trump…
HERE’S WHAT PEOPLE SAW: Democrats went beyond branding themselves as anti-Trump tonight. They branded themselves as anti-American.
When they could not be happy over unemployment being at an all time low, thinking people began asking: “would they be happier if America collapsed?!”
Nothing moved them. When the weeping family who suffered the loss of two girls stood up guess which people didn’t stand?
The “Resistance” is looking like a resistance to progress. In a strange script twist Trump looked reasonable and optimistic and democrats looked bitter and recalcitrant.

Do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God? When a fake Russian dossier was sworn as evidence before the FISA court, an oath was taken that it was truth. At best, these perpetrators of crimes against ordinary citizens have perjured themselves. At worst, they should be shot for treason. Let the inquisition begin, and let’s find out where the trail leads.
They also swore an oath to God to uphold the US Constitution, and that has been thrown out the window right along with 4th Amendment!
State of the Union Address
Now to the reaction from viewers of the State of the Address 2018.
CBS took an instant YouGov poll. Here are the amazing results.
97 percent of Republican viewers liked Trump’s speech.
72 percent of independents liked it.
Amazingly, 43 percent of Democrats liked it.
Overall 75 percent of Americans approved of the speech. And a shocking 8 out of 10 felt President Trump was trying to unite the nation, rather than divide it. Two-thirds reported the speech made them feel proud. (more…)
Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. This is the biggest political crime in American history. The DNC, the Obama administration, the Clinton campaign, and the FBI all collaborated to spy on and bring down the Trump campaign and the Trump administration using lies and subterfuge to illegally obtain FISA warrants and invent a story about Russia collaboration. All Americans should be outraged by this.
Watergate on Steroids
“If you put all the pieces together here’s what you get. The DNC rigs the Democratic Primary Election against Bernie Sanders so Hilliary can win the nomination. Obama’s administration starts to request surveillance on Trump, his family, his transition team, and anyone associated with him. Donna Brazil gives Hilliary the questions to a debate. The DNC pays Christopher Steele to come up with a smear dossier about Trump. The mainstream media releases a taped conversation about Trump talking about grabbing women parts. After all this Trump still wins the General Election. Obama orders an investigation into Russia meddling in our elections. Obama changes Executive Order 12333 to allow more agencies to have access to surveillance data. The Democratic Party comes up with a scandal that Trump Colluded with Russia to win the election with no evidence or proof. This wild claim is backed up by the mainstream media. Obama hold overs start unmasking Trump’s transition team and staff members then release the classified information to the mainstream media. Why? Because the DNC and the Obama administration colluded with the intelligence community to thwart Trump’s campaign efforts to get him elected president. All this Russia collusion is an attempt to cover up the fact that the Obama administration, the intelligence community, the DNC, along with the mainstream media used our nations surveillance as a political tool to try to get Hillary elected President. This makes Watergate look like a kindergarten play. Let that sink in..” ~Teri Dumond
After all why break in when you can just authorize illegal surveillance of your opposition. The FBI plays the role of G. Gordon Liddy.
And then Joshua Sharf rounded it all up in plain language to tell us:
A good, down-the-middle analysis of #MemoDay, as far as it goes. However, I think Dan’s limiting his analysis here a little to narrowly.
While it’s true that “without more, that means that none of this really amounts to a major investigation of anyone deeply involved in the Trump campaign for any significant portion of the campaign,” we do know that the investigation continued into the transition, in the context of a political “resistance” designed to cripple the incoming administration.
We don’t know to what degree the Page investigation was used by partisan operatives such as Susan Rice, or James Clapper, or John Brennan, to pry the door open to the larger fishing expedition the FBI eventually undertook. We don’t know to what extent they were aware of the nakedly partisan origins of the dossier. And we don’t know the extent of White House involvement, either.
