Obamacare, passed without knowing what was in it, because according to Nancy Pelosi, we had to pass it to find out. And yet, it was such a horrible idea that insurance companies, even those who presumably supported it, couldn’t make it work. They withdrew from the marketplace.
ObamaCare created such a catastrophic fail within the insurance system, the CEO of Aetna, earlier this year, announced that ObamaCare was doomed. He referred to the mess created as a “death spiral” and although currently still part of the overall plan, contemplates an exit plan.
Republicans presenting an amended version of the FIXIT ran into such horrific disasters of financial ruin, within the system, they’ve now opted out. President Trump, reverting instead to systematically allowing failure of the corrupt and financial ruination of the broken and corrupt system. Nothing about ObamaCare was potentially viable in the first place, and although certain people may have liked specific pieces of the mass destruction to the insurance industry, as a whole ObamaCare, like socialism, is yet another failed government program.
While much of the concept seems plausible, even likable, that insurance companies can’t discriminate against you due to pre-existing conditions, for instance, the whole of the project is so overwhelmingly burdening to society that no amount of FIXING or AMENDING will repair the damage to tax codes, insurance companies, or to the basic appearance of the whole. It must die a mournful death and the system must be allowed to right itself, before health care, and the consensual element of insured health care industry can be revived.
Who cares for those unable to pay for their care? How can a nation as wealthy and convergent as the United States of America overcome such horrific shame as having no health care for citizens?
Open up insurance markets and allow the industry to right itself. Meanwhile, allow hospitals, doctors, and other medical facilities to charge independent prices and allow people to take care of their own medical needs, even on time payments if necessary to overcome the outage. Increase the ability for hospitals and doctors to serve… remember SERVICE?
When you harvest, leave the gleanings.
Allow those who are in need to ask for assistance and stop reprimanding medical facilities and doctors who offer assistance for those in need.
Remove government influence and allow the markets to FIX themselves. Meanwhile, government can assist in this process by attacking and fixing the rampant fraud that happens in medical care. Eliminate REQUIRED services and allow individual choice once again to be the ‘common choice’ by allowing people to determine the care and the amount of care they need and want.
Today’s chaos in Washington alleviated the ability for Congress to slap a band-aid on ObamaCare and prevent the extermination of bad choices from a previous administration. Let it die. THEN solve the problem rather than resort to a stapled together hodge podge of unrepairable amendments.
