Why can’t we all just get a long?
With insurgents, snowflakes, masked marauders, and greenies hitting the ground with boots on, ready to kill for their diverse dedication to leftists views, the streets are supposedly to be running with blood. They threaten to kill frackers and blow up oil wells in Colorado. Kill conservative speakers at Berkeley, and drop drones on the President, but they’ve somehow missed the point of reality where they recognize their own faults.
America is about being GREATER.
As the battle with a ‘common encouter’ reached a fever point this weekend, and I found myself ‘defending’ when I’d vowed not to EVER do that, because it never ends well. Feelings are hurt, I never feel good about saying hurtful things, and ultimately, it just doesn’t solve the problem. She’s got issues I can’t fix. And she airs them in ways that don’t bring solutions.
So, then I read the sentiments of those mentioned in the first paragraph, and I wonder if the world has gone mad.
There are SOLUTIONS, if we look for them. And they don’t include belittling others, being mean to anyone, or resorting to screaming accusations and lies. When you scream accusations and lies at someone, or start blaming others for your situation, the outcome is always defense. How can it be anything less? Those you accuse, most likely are not guilty of any wrong doing. They’ve made choices the same as you have, and their choices are just as valid.
Our forefathers set in motion a plan whereby solutions could be found, and all who have needs could be helped to fulfill their needs with open handed giving of individuals who offer up help and benefits. The reality is that we have to seek solutions to find them. When we do seek solutions, we overcome struggles, trials, and distractions that might destroy us, if we don’t seek those solutions.
Americans have at their fingertips answers and solutions to many problems… If only they look.
Why not seek the solution?
“NOTHING beats living life on your own terms… Live your life by design not from crisis to crisis!” ~David Allen
When we make choices based on what success we want in our lives and live according to those choices, we find solutions. We seek out the solution that best fills our needs, instead of just moving from crisis to crisis. We seek solutions.
Drama breeds when you live from crisis to crisis, and those who refuse to live in crisis mode find better ways to make life happen. They discover solution based concepts and build on ideas, innovation, and ingenuity. There really and truly is a better way. You have to find it.
The solution that might be most appropriate or accessible, is not always a solution at all, but more often another crisis in the making. Rethink your position and see if you can’t make a better choice. Perhaps, the solution isn’t the easy step, but the more difficult option?
