“When you tear out a man’s tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you’re only telling the world that you fear what he might say.” ~George RR Martin
Perhaps more than shuns, they ran him out on a riot of vandalism and violence. Berkeley, the sinister home of liberal vandals, also indoctrinates your students to tolerate others who are different…
Milo is gay.
To say Milo is a flaming gay stereo-typical man who loves men might be going a bit too far, but he hides nothing. His ability to stand in front of an audience and flaunt his ‘gay-ness’ with elaborate speech and signature gestures, reveals nothing more than the man himself.
I’ve long admired his outspokenness, and his bent toward conservative think, if not the words he uses to define the world around him.
And Berkeley hates him.
Who’d a thunk it?
Perhaps if I were truly a journalist, I would start out with facts and details of the story from the press releases put out by the college, but I’m not. I’m a commentator, opinionated, rough around the edges, and a bit of a redneck Republican, who voted for Trump too. I don’t mince words, nor do I waste them on misbehaving children who should be tethered to their mommy’s wrists until they can properly behave themselves in public.
Instead… I’m going to ratchet down and give you some basic elemental details based on the criteria that has created this mess in the first place, right up there with calling out the Tolerant Left from their pedestals, and naming names.
But first the why.
Because I’m sick of the stereo-typical left behaving like indiscriminate poopy toddlers, exhausted and hungry, while ranting and raving about how intolerant the conservative right is, while the left is caught picking their noses and eating their boogers. This may be the least nice thing I can do at the moment, but I’m going to tell you what I told my children when they acted out… It took them a good minute, but they knew what they had to do, so here goes.
“Grow the hell up!”
Last night after the big deal at Berkeley, and the ‘gotcha’ moment all day long from the news, whining about the next new thing Trump signed, or the last one, I was reading a comment by former Senator Linda Newell of Colorado, and the first word out of her post reminded me that she doesn’t behave as she wants others to behave. In fact, it pointed out something I’ve known for a while about liberals, Democrats, and left leaning politicians in a rather obvious manner. They don’t want EVERYONE to be tolerant. They just demand that EVERY ONE ELSE be tolerant of them and their idiosyncrasies.
Drumpf makes it easier on terrorist recruiting. Of course, he doesn’t see that. Years ago, he changed his name to pretend he wasn’t from an immigrant family himself. Now, he tears families apart, encourages terrorist recruits, and incites hate incidents of discrimination. That’s not patriotism, at least the way I was taught. #Sad day for America and the world. Contact your Congressional delegation and let them know this is inhumane! #PrayingForAmerica
First word out, she refers to President Trump by a name he changed away from in his youth.
Wasn’t it the left who decried and announced policy determining that the individual has a right to identify in whatever manner he chooses, and everyone else must accept their ‘new identity’ and avoid offending the individual? Wasn’t that the left? Perhaps a recent LAW about Gender Bathroom Use or some crazy thing?
Then she applies motive to his name change “Years ago, he changed his name to pretend he wasn’t from an immigrant family himself.”
And she knows this how? Has she asked him why he changed his name? Through discourse of history has he specifically given anyone that reason for changing his name? Does it MATTER to anyone other than HIM how or why he changed his name? Does it make any difference AT ALL to anyone on this planet (with the possible exception to Trump’s family members) that he changed his name from Drumpf to Trump? Perhaps he or others had trouble spelling his name and Trump is easier to spell? Who says it has anything to do with pretending he wasn’t an immigrant? Or that anyone on the planet isn’t an immigrant from somewhere?
Then she accuses ” Now, he tears families apart, encourages terrorist recruits, and incites hate incidents of discrimination.”
This from a senator who pushed through a law allowing social services to take a child out of a home where social services deems it likely that abuse is taking place while the investigation happens. “tears families apart” Have you ever known a family who lost their children to social services over an accusation of things that didn’t happen? EVEN after the family is back together, proven innocent, their neighbors jeer at them. They can’t overcome that kind of disruption in their lives. The pain continues for years, decades afterward. I’m going to skip right over the terrorist comment and go right to “incites hate incidents of discrimination” where we’ll discuss this part about inciting hate incidents of discrimination.
An legal immigrant posted in response to her message:
Linda, when I immigrated to the US, I had to go through a background check, medical screening, rescind my citizenship to the country of my birth, swear to abide by the Constitution and have a sponsor that was responsible for my action. And we got no assistance from the government. Why shouldn’t all immigrants go through that process?
Not a hate filled comment, nor is it even derogatory or alienating. Actually, the question is fair and astute, quite relevant to the subject of the discussion (Ban on Illegal Immigration) as revealed in the link – Read Here – shared in the post.
Then it gets better. A friend of Linda, a democrat who follows and supports many of Linda’s posts, agreeing with many says:
Your response is so disgusting you are not worthy of a discussion
Another conservative poster, comments in support of the legal immigrant:
In what way is ****’s response disgusting? I find it to be relevant. I have friends who also went through the same vetting as Jack when they came to the U.S. They also had to have sponsors and a job waiting for them.
To which Linda’s friend, the ‘tolerant liberal’ responded:
You people are really not educated well. Trump just banned travel from 7 countries to the USA from nations that have never harmed us on our soil in any way shape or form. People had flights booked from Iran for example to the USA for the oscars (nominated Iranian Director) and what is the airline supposed to do. Only US citizens can fly here from these u countries. Syrian refugees we have been vetting for years boom… People with Green Cards that work for Google who are from Iran were.
**** your not part of my America and #NotMyPresident I am ashamed to even be associated people with this much hatred towards families and children caught in a war even live in the Us.. Maybe you. Republicans should all move to Russia where they just made domestic violence legal.
Note in the first paragraph, she said “you people are really not educated well” and in the second paragraph, she used “your” for the contracted “you’re” and her punctuation has become unintentional… About that education? Where is hers?
The conservative poster, tries again:
Wow, you’re really heated up about all this. Rather than all the acrimony, I suggest you do what ******* is going to do–call and write your representatives and senators and also call the President. Express yourself–as I have done and will do as issues come up I don’t support. I’ve done it for all of the prior administrations back to Clinton and will do it for this one.
Then Linda Newell jumps in to defend her ‘tolerant liberal’ friend:
***tolerant liberal friend is right about the rules just put into place. Families are literally unable to come see loved ones here now, all from countries that have not done us harm, and none of those countries just by accident, are countries Trump has business dealings with. People who are working in this country right now legally are now stuck, no travel, nothing. Refugees coming into this country have already had 5 agencies doing vetting of them before yesterday. Also, with all due respect, ****, were you coming as a refugee due to war or violence or persecution? Or was it just a choice for a better way of living? To me, that’s also a big difference. These are men, women, and children who will not likely survive now. Sad. And legal citizens here are once again being targeted. You and I have the privilege of at least looking white. I fear for all those legal Americans who just “look” the wrong nationality or color or religion. Sad day for America and the world.
She doesn’t acknowledge that these are the same 7 countries that were on Obama’s list when he put a ban on immigration. Nor does she support the LEGAL immigrant who is asking her a question. She states that how he came makes a big difference and implies that refugees have more right to ‘be here’. Then Linda Newell imports and adds her fear statement to go straight to the heart of fear mongering leftists and drive her point home “I fear for all those legal Americans who just “look” the wrong nationality or color or religion.” Let’s not forget that she also pointed out “You and I have the privilege of at least looking white.”
So when Linda is called out over her misstatement (Trump didn’t change his name, an ancestor did):
Linda it is very disappointing to see you posting misinformation. When you post things like this your veracity comes into question. You certainly know what it is like to have misinformation put out about you. I guess I just expected better of you.
Linda defends with:
You’re right, I misspoke that Donald had changed his name. It was his grandfather. Guess in my anger, I wrote too hastily. It’s just so sad to see people, especially, children, being hurt from this misguided policy. It’s not only inhumane, but against the very core of our American values. It will also not only not make us safer, but will do the opposite; inciting ISIS to further attempt to recruit US citizens in terrorist pledges. Hope that better explains my frustration. Thanks for clarifying the name issue.
Then she writes a comment about how RUDE the thread has become:
This string has gotten very rude unnecessarily. Since it’s on my page, I would appreciate anyone commenting on it to think before they post and remain civil to each other. This includes me. I am re-committing to clearly think through what I am saying before posting and will continue to commit to civil discourse. I know we need to hash out our philosophies and share our facts, frustrations and fears, but with the purpose of better understanding each other, not to berate each other, please. On my page, we hold a safe zone for talking intelligently with each other and stretching our minds and beliefs. It is not a place for incivility, and I am requesting anyone to post here to honor that, please. Thank you.
And the majority of the rudeness is from the left calling others uneducated, or bad names, when in reality – it started with the Senator who demands tolerance, being intolerant and RUDE.
Now back to Berkeley and all that White Privilege that’s being shoved down American’s throats as of late. Isn’t it time to get back to educating and stop indoctrinating? Can we please stop the riotous behaviors, the vandalism, and the hatred from the left – at least if you’re going to hate on Trump, get your facts right. And if you’re going to condemn Trump supporters of being uneducated – learn how to write.
Name calling, hatred, and violence? If you’re going to sing the song, please… Apply the tune. Learn it. USE it.
Either be the tolerance you want in the world
or shut the flap up about it!
